To exist, no I persist to poetically exist
Swiftly swimming in this ocean of creative juices like a fish
Every month or two I sit back and pause
And think about those times when I got pulled over just cause
Not speeding or swerving he had no just cause
I guess he thought I was one of those guys since
I didn't have a whole lotta since or dollars cents
Loving and all that will come in time but I won't cost a dime
Maybe means no and no means yes
Saying shit like "whatever" just to push buttons and test
The whole idea of answering with those words equals shit
So maybe I will vote… Hmm no I will

Not being an asshole but if you didn't see it… whatever then
As I laugh at myself reading and writing in mirror styles
So many unread poems just sitting paused over in a pile
You see you and I see myself
So I can speak your mind because
using my mirror I can see the hand you just got dealt
